  • The Vivo X30 might house an OLED display
  • The device may embrace midrange chipset
  • The handset might not carry the fingerprint scanner

New renders of the Vivo Vivo X30 smartphone have surfaced online. The image of the Vivo X30 published by SlashLeaks suggests that the handset will carry narrow bezels both on the top of the device as well as the sides. The image also highlights that the device will be having a “notch” on the top, which is similar to the Apple iPhone X. It is quite amusing that these days a lot of smartphone manufacturing companies are trying to embrace “notch” at the top just like the Apple iPhone X. In fact, the last week itself, Motorola Moto X5 renders were leaked that showed the handset accompanied with a notch at the top having a striking resemblance to iPhone X “notch”. There are buzz in the rumor mill that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S will be having a cutout at the top similar to the iPhone X.

Coming back to the successor of the Vivo X20, i.e. Vivo X30, it is evident from the image that the device will carry a thick bezel at the bottom and might not embrace the fingerprint scanner anymore. If one may recall, the recently released Vivo X20 Plus UD  also ditched the fingerprint scanner. The users may gauge from this that the Vivo X30 might be planning to sport an OLED display.
