LG G7 has been making rounds in the rumor world, but now LG has something that’d leave users more perplexed rather than satisfied. The LG G7 has got listed on the official website of the company that highlights the handset embracing Fast Charge Technology. Perhaps not surprisingly, this news was expected, but what is disturbing is the fact that the smartphone might not carry Snapdragon 845.

The much-awaited device from LG, the LG G7 is expected to be an enticing flagship device from LG that will be able to turn the pendulum on its side. This being one of the reasons why it is expected that the smartphone will be accompanied by high-end processors. It is important to point out that this is not the first time when the South Korean company is choosing to give up the latest version of Snapdragon. In the past, LG did not wait for 2017 Snapdragon 835 and went forward with an 821 processor that avoided users from buying LG smartphones.

Nonetheless, on the positive side, users may expect some good news this time “Future LG G7” will be supporting Fast Charge 4.0 which is present only in the 2017’s Snapdragon 835 just like the Nubia Z17. Undoubtedly, LG won’t be wishing to lose this time again to Samsung Galaxy S9 series, which will also be getting released soon.

LG G7 Specifications

The smartphone from LG will be carrying 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage capacity, which will be expandable via microSD card. The handset will also sport a 5.8-inch QHD+ full-screen display and an aspect ratio of 18:9 with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It will also be accompanied by a massive battery capacity of 3500mAh coupled with fast charging technology.

In terms of connectivity, the handset will be donning a USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. On the photography end, the smartphone will be carrying a selfie camera of 8MP and a dual rear camera setup of 16MP. The device LG G7 is expected to be unveiled in the first quarter of this year. Only time will tell how much this device will be able to woo users and how far these rumors will turn to be true.
