The battery is the backbone of any smartphone. A phone may have as much powerful processor and RAM but without it is all a waste without a good battery. All the big players in the smartphone industry that have their own versions of fast charging technology including Apple, Samsung Google, LG, HTC, Sony and a few more. A recent report claimed that Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus’ OnePlus 5T has left even the biggest players behind in terms of fast charging.
BBK-owned OnePlus garnered popularity after the launch of OnePlus 3 in early 2016. It was the time when the company first introduced dash charging technology. And now, with the launch of OnePlus 5T, the company has taken fast charging to a whole new level. A recent report claims that OnePlus’ Dash charging has outpaced fast charging technology offered by various tech giants. This means OnePlus 5T has emerged as the winner among the other popular flagships including Apple iPhone X, Google Pixel 2 XL and Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
A report by Tom Guide, a product review website claimed that the OnePlus 5T can get up to 60 percent in just 30 minutes of charging. In the test that involved big names including iPhone X, Galaxy Note 8, Pixel 2 XL and LG V30, the OnePlus 5T managed to achieve 59 percent charge in just 30 minutes and 93 percent in 1 hour. The LG V30, on the other hand, achieved 53 percent in 30 minutes. The most expensive of them all Apple iPhone X manage to get 50 percent charge in 30 minutes of charging. Moreover, The Pixel 2 and Galaxy Note 8 managed to achieve just 38 and 35 percent of charge within 30 minutes of charging.
