The Oppo A71 (2018) gets launched in Pakistan, before becoming official in India. If one may recall, this handset is the successor of Oppo A71. This launch seems quite surprising, as the Oppo A71 was released recently back in September 2017 in India. However, the good news is that the handset has embraced the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor and has bid adieu to the old MediaTek MT6750 chipset.
Oppo A71 (2018) Specifications
As far as the specifications if concerned, the device is not much revamped. In fact, it carries the almost striking resemblance to its predecessor, Oppo A71, but there are a few improvements that could be noted such as the processor, which is Qualcomm Snapdragon 450. This chipset comes with the Adreno 506 GPU as well as a CPU accompanied by eight Cortex-A53 cores, which is clocked at up to 1.8 GHz. It is expected that this processor will bring improvement in the starting speed of an app by an average of 12.5% in comparison to the last model Oppo A71. The device features the same 5.2″ 720p display coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. It is amusing that the last handset Oppo A71 had 3GB of RAM. Although this step has taken all by surprise, still one may imagine that the Chinese company has a strong reason to reduce the 1GB of RAM. Running on ColorOS 3.2, which is based on Android 7.1 Nougat, the device features AI Beauty Recognition Technology and is packed with a 3,000 mAh battery similar to the Oppo A71.
Oppo A71 (2018) Camera
