Huawei, the Chinese brand has introduced its latest Y series smartphone Huawei Y8p, the company listed this device on its global website with all details except its price and availability. The Huawei Y8p runs on Android 10 based on EMUI 10.1 and powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 710F SoC.
Now let us talk about some key features of the device, Huawei Y8p comes with 6.3-inch full-HD (1080×2400 pixels) OLED display having a 16-megapixel selfie camera as water drop-style notch on top of the display. The device has a dimension of 157.4 x 73.2 x 7.8 mm and weighs 163 grams.
Moreover, it is very important for every device to have enough storage capacity to perform better and Y8p is packed with enough space in both the variants – 4GB RAM + 128GB and 6GB RAM + 128GB. It is further expandable up to 256GB. Huawei Y8p will be available in two colors options – Breathing Crystal and Midnight Black.
In terms of camera, the Huawei Y8p comes with triple rear camera setup having 48MP primary camera (f/1.8 lens), 8MP secondary ultra-wide sensor (f/2.4 lens), and a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4 lens), and in terms of the front camera, this device has 16MP (f/2.0 lens) selfie camera.
The Huawei Y8p offers connectivity features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 AC, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS / A-GPS, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
It is powered by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery and comes with a 10W charging adapter, giving a decent battery backup. Considering the fingerprint sensor, the Huawei Y8p is also following the trend of having it as in-display.
