On Monday Airtel has launched for the first time its 300Mbps broadband plan for the monthly rental of just Rs 2,199. This broadband plan is specifically designed for the subscribers on the FTTH (Fiber-To-Home) services. This new plan offers a whopping 1200 GB ultra-high-speed data along with the additional benefits of unlimited local/STD calling. This new plan is debuting after more than a year since Airtel bought its V-Fiber broadband model. The objective of V-Fiber model is to provide the maximum data speed of 100Mbps in India.
The subscribers who are opting for this new monthly broadband plan will get many additional benefits like the free subscriptions to the Airtel’s OTT apps, Wynk Music, Airtel TV, and the Amazon Prime subscription which Airtel is also providing to its other customers too. This broadband will also include benefits like data rollover, Airtel Surprise and myHome Rewards. Along with this plan will also provide the subscribers bonus 1TB data which will be valid till October 31.
Though, this offer can be availed only if the rental plan is bought online. The availability of the 300Mbps is depending on the geographic location and therefore the subscribers can always check the broadband site to ensure whether or not their specific region is included in the selected circles of the broadband plan. George Mathen the CEO- Homes, Bharati Airtel has said while launching this new broadband plan that “Following the resounding success of our V-Fiber home broadband offering, we are delighted to introduce the new FTTH based plans for customers looking for higher speeds.
Fixed broadband continues to be the preferred in-home mode for customers to consume online digital content and the average usage per home is growing at a breakneck speed. With this in mind, we will plan to expand our FTTH offerings over the coming days and provide our customers the choice of home broadband plans across a wide range of price points and speeds”.
