The stripped-down version of the Honor 9, the Honor 9 Lite has been rolled out by the company to the Indian users. The most impressive part is its four camera-setup at such a low price of Rs. 10,999 (~$172). The handset will be available in India in three colour options – Blue, Glacier Grey and Midnight Black and two memory configuration options – the 3GB of RAM and the 4GB of RAM. The first one carries a price tag of 10,999 and the second one will be available at Rs. 14,999 (~$235). Furthermore, the smartphone Honor 9 Lite is Flipkart exclusive and will go on sale from January 21. st January.
Honor 9 Lite Specifications
The smartphone houses a 5.65-inch IPS LCD Full-HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. With 2.5D curved glass rear and front panels, the Honor 9 Lite has a dimension of 151 x 71.9 x 7.6mm and weighing 149 grams. Powered by a Kirin 659 processor, which has four cores at 2.36GHz, and the other four cores at 1.7GHz will be carrying a microSD card slot for expanding the handset memory. The memory configuration available on Honor 9 Lite is — 3GB RAM with 32GB onboard storage capacity and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal memory.
Honor 9 Lite Camera
The device from Honor comes with the dual rear and front camera setup. The front one includes a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.0 aperture. There is also an updated Beautification mode available for the selfie lovers. The rear camera configuration is a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary sensor alongside many other features such as phase detection autofocus, Slow-Motion video shooting, Voice Camera, Watermark, panorama 3D Beauty, Smile Capture, Burst Shot, bokeh effect photography and HDR, digital zoom.
In terms of connectivity, the handset includes Dual-SIM, 3.5mm audio jack, 4G VoLTE, GPS, USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth v4.2. With no NFC. Equipped with intelligent power saving feature, the smartphone will carry a 3,000mAh battery. With a fingerprint sensor, the smartphone Honor 9 Lite runs EMUI 8.0, based on Android 8.0 Oreo OS. To boost up the sale there will be Honor Ride Mode and one-touch payment integration via Paytm will be introduced. Let’s see how many users are lured towards this handset, but it seems to be a good option.
