The Honor 7X, the mid-range smartphone by Huawei is reported to be getting a software, but sadly it will be meant only for Chinese variant. As per the report by AndroidSoul, the latest update will be made available for the Honor 7X handset under the build number B192. Furthermore, the AndroidSoul also claims that the Chinese variant of Honor 7X with model number AL10 will receive the update.
Interestingly, this update will introduce Face Unlock feature in the device with other intriguing features such as AR Lens to the selfie camera, Google’s Android security patch (released in January), optimizations for the Weather App, and many more such interesting things. In fact, Honor had promised face unlock feature a few weeks back and now the Chinese company has fulfilled it.
How To Activate Face Unlock Feature
The Face Unlock feature was first introduced with the Honor View 10 and now the Chinese users may activate it easily by following these steps:
- First, go to the Settings
- Go to the Security and Privacy
- Now use Face Unlock
It must be remembered that the handset already has fingerprint sensor placed at the rear side of the device and is technically a biometric authentication tool , which can unlock the Honor 7X smartphone by identifying the users face via front camera.
How To Use AR Lens
Now, users may manage the AR Lens available in the selfie camera, which will add effects to the snaps and can bring changes in the backgrounds while taking selfies. The users need to follow these steps:

How To Manage Lock Screen Notifications
With the help of this feature, the users can easily hide the content shown in the notifications. Follow these steps to use this feature:
