Sony is finally expected to bring the bezel-less trend to its smartphones with the new leaked image. The image that surfaced online shows some key specifications of a phone with model number H8216 which is expected to be Sony Xperia XZ2.
A report by Techie State showcases an image of a smartphone with almost no bezels on three sides while a slight notch at the top. The image suggests no front fingerprint sensor as there is no place at the bottom to place it. The physical buttons seem to be located on the top right side of the phone. The slight notch at the top of the phone seems to house camera, speaker and sensors. The screen to body ratio of the smartphone is speculated to be 90 per cent.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Specifications
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Specifications will feature a 5.48-inch FHD display and will come with very high pixel density. The aspect ratio will be 18:9 which is the trend these days. There is expected to be a 15MP camera on the rear and a 12MP camera on the front. The device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 630 GPU. The internal storage on the phone is expected to be 64GB.
The expected battery of the Sony Xperia XZ2 will be 3,130mAh and will also feature Quick Charge 4+ technology. With Sony launching a phone running on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, the upcoming phone is also expected to run on Android Oreo out of the box.
We are not sure if the image is actually authentic but it is overwhelming to see Sony’s first bezel-less smartphone. It is recommended to take the leaks with a pinch of salt.
