Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has confirmed that it will be launching a new bezel-less smartphone at an event in London on December 5. The company has started sending teasers confirming the launch date.
However, the event invite does not specify the name of the smartphone but it comes with a tagline, “Max your view” that clearly suggests that it will house very thin bezels and sport a dual camera setup. The smartphone is expected to feature 18:9 display, a principal feature of smartphones launched these days.
It is also expected to come with AI integration which is confirmed with the presence of a droid at the left bottom of the teaser image of the event. The event will commence in London that suggests that Honor will launch the smartphone initially alongside other European markets.
Honor, on Tuesday, announced the Honor 7x, it features a large 5.93-inch Full HD+ display with slim bezels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 659 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The device comes in three memory variants including 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. The device sports an all-metal unibody and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat atop EMUI 5.1 out of the box.

8 days agoThere is a dual camera setup on the rear including one 16-megapixel and another 2-megapixel on the rear. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel front selfie shooter. The device will go on sale from October 17 in China. There is no information from the company about its availability outside China yet.
The Honor 7x comes with IP67 certified dust and water resistance and a fingerprint sensor mounted on the rear. The 32GB variant will be priced at RMB 1,299 (roughly Rs 13,000), 64GB variant at RMB 1,699 (roughly Rs 17,000) and RMB 1,999 (roughly Rs 20,000).
