Oppo has finally confirmed the launch date of its much-anticipated smartphone, Oppo F5 in India. The company made it clear that is will be made available in the country from November 2 in three variants.
The Oppo Malaysia confirmed the new by posting a video on its official Instagram page. The video states that the smartphone including Oppo F5 Youth, Oppo F5 and Oppo F5 6GB. The Oppo F5 Youth is assumed to be the base model. While the remaining two Oppo F5 and Oppo F5 6GB will feature 4GB of RAM and 6GB RAM respectively.
Oppo F5 Specifications
The Oppo F5 will feature a 6-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM. In terms of optics, the Oppo F5 sports a dual camera setup at the front which is speculated to be a pair of 16MP sensors. There is also a 20MP camera sensor on the rear which represents the selfie centric lineup of the Chinese OEM.
The device gets its juice from a 4000mAh battery. The video also suggests that the Oppo F5 will also come with facial recognition support and will also be splash resistant and can be used with wet hands and gloves as well.
The Oppo F5 6GB also features similar specifications to Oppo F5 standard edition despite the fact that it features a 6GB RAM instead of 4GB one, which is clear from the name itself. The Oppo F5 is the toned down version of Oppo F5 and is seen featuring single front facing camera. The buyers who pre-order the phone will get a VIP card, Oppo bag and special gift box.
