The buzz in the rumor mill is that Vivo might launch its flagship device the Vivo X20 Plus UD, which is allegedly the same handset that was showcased by Vivo at the recently wrapped up Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2018. The variant of the X20 Plus, this device has a fingerprint scanner, which is embedded under the screen. The release date is expected to be January 25 and the price is believed to be around 3,998 Yuan, which if converted directly will be Rs 39,999. An earlier report suggested that the Vivo X20 Plus UD, the smartphone will be priced at 3,698 Yuan (Rs 36,900).
ZyadAtef, a popular tipster who had in the past leaked information and images revealing much information about the forthcoming handsets has recently leaked the fresh renders of the Vivo X20 Plus UD. The image shows it clearly that there is neither any front or rear facing fingerprint sensor, which certainly points out that the device could be accompanying Synaptics’ ID in-display fingerprint scanner.

Furthermore, it is also rumored that the handset has got certified by TENAA recently. The listing has also revealed the specifications of the device that the Vivo X20 Plus UD smartphone will be sporting a 6.43-inch OLED panel with Full HD+ screen resolution. The handset will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and a128 GB native storage capacity.

As far as the camera is concerned, the device will carry a dual rear camera setup of 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. With a battery support of 3,800mAh , the handset will carry a 12-megapixel selfie camera sensor and it is rumored that the dimension will be a bit smaller than the X20 Plus handset by Vivo.
