The market has been flooded with every mobile brand jacking their flagships in for taking over the rest by stuffing every new technology like the fingerprint scanner, dual camera, high-end processors and what not. The Chinese manufacturer, Topwise Communication has invested in producing a low-budget range of Comio smartphones christened the Comio C1, Comio S1 and the Comio P1.
This ‘low-budget but high-performance’ smartphone series will directly be available for purchase from local retail stores at paying Rs 5,999/- for the Comio C1, Rs 8,999/- for the Comio S1 and Rs 9,999/- for the Comio P1. These phones will go on sale within the coming week in the North-East India and other parts by mid-September
All three phones will run Android Nougat 7.0 and would be 4G VoLTE supported handsets. Along with having a metal body Comio C1 model will have Mellow Gold and Space Black color variants. Other than that, you’ll be getting 5GB of additional data free on any recharge of Rs 309/- or more, on Reliance Jio, according to the collaboration. This phone series will have a free single time display replacement warranty for six months along with 100 days plus one-year build manufacturer warranty.
Comio C1 is the cheapest smartphone of this Comio smartphone series but is nothing to be judged of its low-cost being highly stuffed with reasonable features and specs. C1 will have a 64-bit 1.3 GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM. The screen is an HD 5-Inch display with 720×1280 resolution. Apart from this, it will sport an 8MP camera with autofocus and LED flash along with a 5MP front camera for selfies. Well, that specification chart doesn’t seem so bad for a price tag of Rs 5,999/-
The Comio S1 as the second smartphone of this series retailing at Rs 8,999/- The smartphone will have an HD 5.2-inch screen of the same screen resolution that of C1 (720×1280). Along with this, the phone runs on a 64-bit quad-core processor with 2GB RAM. This phone has 32GB of internal storage internally which can be expanded to 128GB through a MicroSD card. It has been equipped with a fingerprint scanner at the home button. The S1 is powered by a decent 2,700mAh battery.
The most advanced smartphone of the series is P1 costs Rs 9,999/- This smartphone has an impressive 13MP autofocus rear camera with an 8MP lens at the front. Same as of S1, it can store up to 32GB of data internally but can expand to 128GB using a MicroSD card. This device is powered by an insane 5,000mAh battery which is claimed to have one month of standby time. P1 has been equipped with the same processor as of other two but has a 3GB RAM instead. Other than that, the P1 has its fingerprint scanner at the rear.
It would be interesting to see if the Chinese manufacturer gets to sell this amazing smartphone series in India as successfully as the more popular phones like the Xiaomi Redmi phones. Let us know your take on this low-budget smartphone series in the comments section below.
