OnePlus took the market by a storm in the very first month that it launched. From the hyped OnePlus to the set for a June launch OnePlus 6, the excitement and fan following of the phones have not gone down. An upgrade usually is better than its predecessor (not always!!) and this new device has been upgraded too and comes with a lot of surprises.
It has been hinted by the company that the phone is going to be fast and could come fitted with a Snapdragon 845 chipset and could have 8GB RAM. Weibo, the Chinese microblogging site leaked new renders of the OnePlus 6 on Sunday that show the phone in three colors- white, blue and black. The renders also show the smartphone sporting an iPhone X like notch that had already been confirmed by the company a few days ago.
Both the rear and front panels of the phone were revealed. The bezels on the phone are not just thinner on the OnePlus 6 than on the OnePlus 5T, there are no bezels on the top and there is very less bezel on the bottom of the display. The revealed side renders of the phone show the OnePlus 6 featuring a red alert slider as was seen on the OnePlus 5T Star Wars edition last year. The renders that showed the front panel of the device confirms a 6-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
On the rear panel, the renders show the dual camera set up and a fingerprint sensor that is way different than how the setup was on the OnePlus 5T. The dual cameras are placed in the center of the back panel and are aligned vertically. Under the camera set up, there is the LED flash that is between the cameras and the fingerprint sensor. But this time, the fingerprint sensor is rectangular in shape unlike the circular one that is on the OnePlus 5T. The OnePlus logo sits under the fingerprint sensor. What is interesting about the logo is that, the white variant has a red colored logo and the logo on the blue and black variant is in black.
The device will be available to buy from all the leading e-commerce websites like Amazon and Flipkart and also from the official sales counter of the company. The official date hasn’t been set yet but a late April or May early launch is being expected.
Excited? Aren’t we all!!
