Considering India as one of the biggest markets, Asus India has announced permanent cuts in the prices of seven smartphones of Asus ZenFone series in order to accelerate the rapid growth of Asus in the Indian market. The Taiwanese company seems positive about attracting Indian customers to this step. The Region head of Asus India, Peter Chang describes the company’s “two pillars” strategy. The first pillar is to provide the technology best suited for Indian users and the second one is the pricing, which Xiaomi understands very well. Keeping these points in mind the permanent price cuts have been initiated by Asus India.
Today, Asus India unveiled the discounted price of all the seven ZenFone smartphones series – ZenFone 3 (5.2), ZenFone 3 (5.5), ZenFone Max, ZenFone 3 Max (5.2), ZenFone 3 Max (5.5), ZenFone Go (5.0), and ZenFone Go (5.5). All these smartphones will be available at the Asus Exclusive Store in India with its online and offline partners. Alongside, these smartphones, Asus ZenFone Go series smartphones have also received a slash in the price. The new price of ZenFone Go 5.0 and the ZenFone Go 5.5, are Rs. 6,499 and Rs. 6,999, respectively, which is down from Rs. 7,999 and Rs. 8,499 from the launch price.
As far as the ZenFone series smartphones are concerned, the Asus ZenFone (ZE520KL) is down from Rs. 15,999 to Rs. 11,999. The ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL) is now priced at Rs. 14,999, which is down from Rs. 16,999. The ZenFone 3 Max (ZC520TL), the ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) and the ZenFone Max (ZC550KL) are available at Rs. 8,499, Rs. 9,999 and Rs. 7,499, respectively.
