The millennials are all about putting everything they experience on social media. But, what good is it without any pictures? That’s why the selfie was invented, but, Nokia has taken the Selfie ante up to Bothie. Termed as the Dual Sight feature which enables the front and the rear cameras simultaneously to capture a split screen image.
The Finnish startup, HMD, owned Nokia 8 is shod with Zeiss branded dual camera optics at the rear and a single camera up front. And that’s not even the party trick for this flagship model! It is the fact that while performing social media live streams or simply making videos, the Dual Sight feature would still work. “There are two sides to every story and the Dual Sight feature of the Nokia 8 is designed to help you create and share the full picture,” claims the Finnish phone maker. No wonder the slogan states, ‘Be Less Selfie, Be More Bothie.’ Such a feature isn’t yet available in any other flagship phone. And in case you were waiting for the Nokia 8, you may have to do so a little bit longer as it is slated for its India launch by October 2017.
Built on a single Aluminium block the Nokia 8 is just 4.6 mm thick on the edges and has a 7.3mm thickness on an average. The sleek design though doesn’t mean a compromise on performance. The Nokia 8 packs in a Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU, similar to the OnePlus’ flagship model, the OnePlus 5. The 4GB RAM would also ensure that you should not have any glitches or freezes. The audio and video quality are equally complimented wherein the audio department is taken care by OZO’s Dolby surround technology. The visual bit is a 2560X1440 pixel display with a pixel density of 559.
