Airtel has launched the new 82 days pack for Rs 499 for the prepaid users recently. The prepaid users will get 2GB data every day and along with this free 100 SMSes and local and STD calls are included in the pack. Airtel has launched this pack in order to compete with rival companies like Jio and BSNL.
This pack primarily focuses on the IPL 2018 matches, so that the users can stream and watch the matches online without any hassle. The company has not branded this as the IPL 2018 special pack. The new recharge will come at a higher data caps when compared with the other plans offered by Airtel.
In this Rs 499 pack, Airtel is offering a bundled pack. This pack includes 2GB data every day, 100 free SMSes daily. Along with 300 minutes per day and also weekly 1000 minutes after which the call will be charged for 30 paise per minute.
On the other hand in the Rs 448 pack, Airtel provides 1.4GB data per day for 82 days, which ultimately amounted to 114.8 GB data. Very similarly the Rs 509 pack provides 1.4GB data daily for ninety days, which totals to 126GB data. But on the other hand, the Jio Rs 251 IPL pack provides 2GB data per day for 51 days, which totals to 104GB for the entire pack’s validity.
It has been primarily promoted as the IPL pack but the users are given the liberty to consume any data that they want over the internet for the duration of the tournament. Whereas the BSNL Rs 248 pack offers a lot more. BSNL provides 3GB every day and the pack has the validity of 53 days and the total data allocated to the users is 153GB. Users can buy this pack only until April 30th.
