Xiaomi has slashed the price of its budget dual camera phone, Mi A1 by Rs 2,000. Xiaomi India Managing Director and Vice President Manu Kumar Jain revealed the information with a Tweet. The Mi A1 was originally launched with a price tag of Rs 14,999 which has now been brought down by Rs 2,000 to 12,999. The phone is made available on Mi.com and Flipkart from December 7 to December 9.
The tweet read, “Best Deal of December: we will have a Rs 2000 discount on #MiA1 from 7th-9th December exclusively on @Flipkart & http://Mi.com ! Mi A1: Picture Perfect Flagship Dual Camera!”
The phone runs on Android One which makes it cheaper. The biggest highlight of the phone is the dual rear camera setup. The phone is offered in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colour.
Xiaomi Mi A1 Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi A1 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor that is coupled with 4GB of RAM. The internal storage offered by the device is 64GB that can be expanded up to 256GB with the help of a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and MIUI on top.
In terms of optics, there is a dual camera setup on the rear with two 12MP camera sensors. One of the two sensors is a telephoto lens and the other is a wide angle lens. On the front, there is a 5MP camera sensor.
