The OnePlus is expected to launch another flagship device for this year, OnePlus 5T in November, around the same time company launched the OnePlus 3T last year. Various rendered videos and leaked images have surfaced on the internet recently. Some showing vertical placement of the dual camera, some showing a horizontally placed dual camera setup on the rear. One thing that remains the same is the bezel-less display.
Yesterday, two images of the smartphone were leaked on the Chinese microblogging website, Weibo that showcased bezel-less display with very slim bezels on top as well as at the bottom. Although, except for the display the entire design of the phone is similar to the previously launched OnePlus 5.
A new teaser image by the Android Authority, which it claims comes from a trusted source gives us a better look at the phone. The image shows almost no bezel on the sides but a very thin chin at the bottom. Earlier leaks claimed that the fingerprint sensor will be moved from the home button below the display to the back of the phone below the camera.
The OnePlus 5T features a bezel-less display design due to which the home button has been removed, as per the leaked images, which suggests that the smartphone will come with Android’s virtual navigation buttons. The 6-inch tall display will feature an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The power button lies on the right side of the phone while the volume rockers sit on the left of the phone.
